Background: Anzu Mazaki was your average teenage girl, if a bit on the obsessive side when it came to friendship. She went to Dominio High with her friends and went on various adventures where said friends dueled with cards to save the world/each other/find one of their memories. Most everyone knows this story and how things were always good in the end. Until the man she thought she loved was sent to the afterlife. Despite the happy face she put on for the others, her heart wasn't in it anymore. The close group of friends who'd been through many adventures together, through life and death situations and Egyptian magics, finally went their seperate ways. School days were now over, the cards were put away, and everyone went to college. Anzu went to America to pursue her dream of going to school, leaving Japan for good. She found that dancing for a living was much different than doing it for fun. The school she attended turned dancing into a science instead of an art, and she found that she couldn't stand it any longer. Still in school, she didn't know what to do. She knew she would need a college degree to make it anywhere in life, but she had no idea what to do. So, she started taking courses in diverse fields - English, theatre, kinesiology - just trying to find what she wants to do with her life. Personality: Seems cheerful around most anyone, but inside she's mostly confused. Ever since the ceremonial duel (when the guy she liked was sent to the afterlife), she's had a lot less confidence and panics a lot easier than she used to. Appearance: Shoulder length brown hair, big blue eyes, long legs. Likes to wear loose fitting pants and skirts, and tight fitting shirts. Keeps her hair back with a hair band so it doesn't fall into her eyes. Likes: Dancing, talking with her friends, going to the arcade, ramen.
